Summer Solstice
You may not know it, but today is the longest day of the year, also known as the summer solstice! Summer solstice is a day in which the sun’s rays are directly over top one of the two tropical latitude lines. Today marks the northern hemispheres beginning of summer, which also means the beginning of winter for the southern hemisphere. It is a day in which the sun hangs above us and shines for the longest time during the year.
So put on some sunscreen and head out to the beach for a fun summer!
